MPI Investigation Report

(Updated July 4, 2008)

On May 17, 2008, Midwest Paranormal Investigations,
in conjunction with Saint Louis Paranormal Studies,
conducted an investigation of our building.
Webmaster Don Love, and Guild President Debbie Love observed.

The report confirms Debbie’s and Don’s impresssions that
very little activity took place that night.

1. Report

On June 21, 2008, Guild President Debbie Love received the following email from Adam Honerkamp:

Date: Sat, 21 Jun 2008 09:30:47 -0700 (PDT)
From: "Midwest Paranormal Investigations MPI" <midwestparanorma
linvestigations@yahoo.com>
Subject: Investigation results
To: president@theaterguildwg.org

Hello Debbie, I wanted to first say THANK YOU for letting us investigate at the theater, and for telling us all of the stories! We had a great time, and you have a great place. We checked everything that we had from the investigation, and unfortunately did not capture anything on video, or photo. We did capture a EVP in the bathroom where the girl was to have been locked in. Brian has the recording on one of his recorders, and we would like to come by to let you hear it for yourself. We will also bring the history information we have along with us in case it has anything you would be interested in. Are you available to meet sometime on Wednesday? Thanks again! Adam Honerkamp

2. Debriefing

On Wednesday, June 25, Don and Debbie met with Adam Honerkamp and Brian Stoessel. As promised, Brian played the EVP (‘‘electronic voice phenomenon,’’ voices picked up on a tape recorder, but undetected by human ears at the time of recording) for Debbie and Don. Both Guild members agreed that a female voice said ‘‘Brian.’’

Afterwards, Brian explained that he had made a promise to the entity that he would come back and play the recording for her if anything were picked up. He moved into the closet-sized restroom in the ladies’ dressing room, and played the recording. He then made another recording on the spot, then returned to Adam, Debbie, and Don in the lobby, and played the new recording. On it, Don and Debbie clearly heard a female voice say ‘‘Brian,’’ twice.

2. EVPs

MPI has promised to send us copies of the EVPs. We will post them and provide links as soon as MPI sends them to us.

The laptop in the foreground monitored four downstairs areas of reported activity. A similar laptop behind the upper center flat upstairs on the stage monitored second floor areas.

Joe Cullins investigating an impression. It is unknown what the yellow streak in the background is, as there are no houses across Summit from the Guild. Guesses range from a flare in the camera lens, to headlights of a passing car, to a light coming through tree branches.

Portion of Eves Garden, behind the outdoor marquee. Joe got the impression of children playing near the driveway. In the impression, something fell off the roof, the children thought the roof was falling, and something died -- nonhuman, possibly a pet.

Restroom in the ladies’ dressing room, where Brian picked up two EVPs on two different occasions. It is believed that the spirit of an abused little girl resides here.
